Completing my apprenticeship with Brian Phipps, an advertising photographer in the London West End, I reached out as a freelance photographer in need of an income and pushed hard to work for national newspapers and magazines. I very soon secured work supplying photographs for fashion and portraiture editorial features for the Mail on Sunday, New York Times and Financial Times. I began to build my reputation as a reliable photographer. I was constantly on the lookout for new styles of photography and which photographers were producing fresh images. I was asked to photograph London Fashion Week for the New York Times to cover the catwalk shows, parties & events with staff reporter Michael Gross. Michael also wrote features for the NYT. He would ask me to do the photography to illustrate his features; these commissions became a regular event; it was great to see my photographs used in the paper, knowing it was published in America and available in the UK. 
 
Now based in the North East of England, I supply my photography services to editorial, Corporate & Business, PR companies and private commissions in Teesside and throughout the Uk.
