Chris J Parker says, "One of my favourite photography coverage shoots is photographing on-site commissions of industrial production at working plant locations. The dynamic environment of a bustling factory or manufacturing facility provides a unique backdrop that is not only visually striking but also rich in storytelling potential. Capturing the intricate processes involved in industrial production allows me to highlight the craftsmanship, dedication, and technology that drive these operations forward. Each photograph serves as a window into the world of industry, showcasing the hardworking individuals and the sophisticated machinery that work in tandem to create products that are essential to our daily lives.
Commission photography shoot for WKE. This particular project involved a comprehensive overview of WKE’s production line, where I aimed to encapsulate the essence of their operations. Through a careful selection of angles and lighting, I was able to portray not just the physical aspects of the machinery and the layout of the plant, but also the energy and commitment of the workforce. My goal was to create images that resonate with viewers, evoking an appreciation for the industrial processes that often go unnoticed.
As an industrial and commercial photographer, Chris J Parker specialises in capturing the heart of various industries through his lens. His work transcends mere documentation; it is about creating compelling narratives that reflect the spirit of innovation and resilience found in manufacturing. By focusing on the details—such as the textures of materials, the precision of machinery in motion, and the expressions of skilled workers—Parker's photography not only informs but also inspires. Each shoot is an opportunity to explore the intersection of art and industry, making every project a unique experience that contributes to his growing portfolio of industrial photography.
