Under his leadership, the MDSA has flourished, becoming a vital support network that not only champions inclusivity within the local sports community but also fosters a sense of belonging among its members. Paddy's tireless efforts over the years, which have included organising events, facilitating access to games, and ensuring that the voices of disabled supporters are heard, have not gone unnoticed. In recognition of his significant contributions and the positive impact he has made, he was nominated to be a torchbearer, a prestigious honour that symbolises his dedication and hard work.
